1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms govern your use of the EJ website, catalog, supplied PDFs and other documents, browser cart, checkout, and orders.

By using the site, you agree to these Terms and the Research-Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Who may use the site

The catalog is intended for qualified laboratory researchers and people authorized to evaluate research materials for a qualified organization. You may use the site only if you are legally able to agree to these Terms and, when acting for an organization, authorized to act for that organization.

3. Research-only limits

All catalog materials are presented only for lawful, qualified, nonclinical laboratory research. Their permitted use is limited to controlled laboratory work in appropriately equipped facilities.

Do not use site content as dosing, administration, reconstitution, medical, veterinary, or clinical guidance. The Research-Use Policy is part of these Terms and provides additional restrictions.

4. Orders, acceptance, and payment

Optional address suggestions are provided by Google Maps and are subject to the Google Maps Terms of Service. Review and correct your delivery and billing details before continuing. Suggestions do not verify deliverability.

Placing an order through the checkout is an offer to purchase for qualified research use. An order is accepted only when EJ confirms payment and dispatches the items. Until then, EJ may decline or cancel an order for any lawful reason, including an order that does not meet the Research-Use Policy, a delivery address EJ cannot serve, or unavailability of an item, and any payment already captured for a declined order is refunded to the original method.

Payment is collected by EJ's payment processor on its own secure pages, or through a secure payment link emailed after an order request. EJ does not see or store card numbers. No payment is taken on EJ's pages, and nothing ships before payment is confirmed. Displayed prices, quantities, and totals are in US dollars; shipping is shown before payment is completed.

By placing an order you confirm that the materials are for research use only. An order record, including the items, delivery and billing addresses, and payment status, is kept by EJ so that history stays accurate and reporting windows in the shipping, returns and refunds policy can be applied.

5. Catalog and document verification

Catalog content may include product names, images, descriptions, specifications, prices, certificates of analysis, lab reports, safety documents, or other supplier materials. EJ aims to present useful information but does not promise that every item is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular research purpose.

A listing is not a representation that a product is approved, cleared, authorized, registered, certified, safe or effective, lawful in your location, or available for sale. “Research use only” is not a regulatory approval.

Lab Tests serves supplied PDFs and images. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, EJ is not the author of those source documents and does not represent that it independently performed the reported testing.

A certificate or report must be checked against the exact supplier, product, lot or batch identifier, date, version, and test method. If identifiers do not match or information conflicts, do not rely on the document.

6. No medical, veterinary, or professional advice

The site provides catalog information, not medical, veterinary, clinical, legal, regulatory, safety, or other professional advice. Product descriptions and documents must not be used to make decisions about a person or animal. Seek appropriate independent professional review for laboratory safety, compliance, and research design.

EJ will not provide dosing, administration, reconstitution, treatment, or diagnostic guidance.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

• use the site or catalog to support a prohibited use described in these Terms or the Research-Use Policy;
• violate applicable law, regulation, sanctions, import or export controls, or another person's rights;
• misrepresent your identity, qualifications, organization, intended use, or authority;
• interfere with the site's operation or security, introduce malware, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, or attempt unauthorized access;
• send automated traffic at a rate that disrupts the site; or
• copy, alter, or present a certificate, report, label, or listing in a misleading way.

EJ may restrict access, remove content, or take other reasonable steps in response to suspected misuse or security threats.

8. Intellectual property

The site design, text created by EJ, graphics, logos, and software are owned by EJ or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and make reasonable internal copies of site content for evaluating lawful research use. You may not publish, sell, license, remove attribution from, or create misleading derivative versions of EJ content without permission.

Supplier names, marks, product images, certificates, reports, and other source materials remain the property of their respective owners. No trademark license is granted by listing them.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” EJ disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. EJ does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, current, accurate, or free of harmful components.

These disclaimers do not exclude any warranty or right that applicable law does not allow EJ to exclude.

10. Limits on liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EJ and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost research, business interruption, or reliance on catalog content, arising from or related to the site.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes and site availability

EJ may change, suspend, or discontinue site content or features. EJ may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Changes apply prospectively from the posted effective date unless applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.
