Policies
Privacy policy
Effective September 1, 2026
1. Scope
This policy explains how EJ handles information for its public catalog, Lab Tests library, browser cart, checkout, orders, and optional accounts.
2. Catalog browsing
Browsing the catalog requires no account. The site is hosted on Vercel, which may automatically process standard request and technical data needed to deliver and secure the site. EJ runs no application analytics and no advertising trackers.
3. Cart, checkout, and orders
When address suggestions are enabled, text entered in Address line 1 and a temporary search session identifier are sent to Google Maps to find matching addresses. Values entered in the other checkout fields are not included in these searches. Google's Privacy Policy explains its processing. You can enter or correct every address field manually. EJ does not store search queries or suggestion lists.
Your browser saves the product identifiers and quantities in your cart. When you continue to payment, we send your cart and checkout details to our payment provider.
When you place an order, EJ records the items, quantities, and prices, your name, email address, and optional phone number, the delivery address, a separate billing address if you give one, and the order's payment status. Orders placed without an account are reachable only through the confirmation link sent to that email address. This record is used to fulfil the order, apply the shipping and returns policy, and meet legal record-keeping duties.
Card payment is handled by EJ's payment processor, Tagada, on its own secure pages or through a payment link it emails. The processor receives the order number, the items and amount, and your contact and delivery details, and processes card data under its own privacy policy. EJ never sees or stores card numbers. The processor notifies EJ only of the payment outcome.
Do not enter payment-card data, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive information into EJ's forms.
4. Optional accounts
Accounts are optional. When you create one, Supabase processes your email address, password-verification data, any linked sign-in provider, confirmation and recovery events, authentication cookies, and security logs so that EJ can provide sign-in, recovery, and abuse prevention. Cloudflare Turnstile may process challenge and technical data on the account forms.
While signed in, EJ stores the records you choose to create in your account: saved listings, the display name and organisation you enter, address-book entries, and your orders with their payment and dispatch status. Orders placed while signed in are linked to the account so you can follow and reorder them.
Each of these records is visible only to your account. You can remove saved listings and addresses at any time; order records are retained so that history stays accurate, and account deletion is handled through support.
5. Current limits and providers
EJ stores no card numbers and no saved payment methods. EJ does not sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising.
EJ may share limited information with Supabase, Cloudflare, Vercel, Tagada, the delivery carrier, and their service providers to provide authentication, abuse prevention, hosting, security, payment, and delivery; with authorities when legally required; or with a successor operator subject to applicable law and this policy.
6. Retention and choices
Browser cart data remains until you clear it or clear browser storage. Account records remain until you remove them or the account is closed. Support emails are retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, document resolution, prevent abuse, and meet legal or operational obligations.
You may clear browser data at any time or request privacy assistance through Contact EJ.
7. Contact and changes
EJ publishes a support email address on Contact EJ. Do not email passwords, full payment-card numbers, bank details, government identifiers, or health information. EJ may update this policy when site practices change.
